If you’ve ever planned a wedding, you know how much goes in to it. From the biggest of details like the venue to the smallest of details like the seating chart you know that it can get overwhelming and stressful at times. The Knot is a very popular wedding website that encompasses all of the details of wedding planning.
This is a free website to use. You sign up for it with an e-mail address (don’t worry, you can opt out of their newsletters). You can also plug in your wedding details such as colors, date and genre. You can even put your wedding guest list on this and have easy access to print labels!
If you are getting married, this is a MUST to include in your wedding planning. It will make it SO much easier. Believe me, I’ve done it the hard way and wish I would’ve known about this!
When it comes to planning a wedding, it’s best to try to save as much money as possible. That is, of course, if you have a budget in which the wedding must fit into which is a majority of people. This also makes me thing, what would my wedding be like if I didn’t have a budget I had to stick to…if I had unlimited funds to plan with. What would you do in that case?
Anyway, wedding programs can be a huge expense. It can cost a lot to have them customized and printed, especially if they are a thicker paper or something unique with something like a tissue overlay.
I found this idea on Pinterest and I really like it. Instead of wedding programs (because they often get thrown away or ignored altogether), take a chalkboard and write the wedding program out on it. This will save a ton of money and is a very unique idea.
I LOVE cooking and baking, and even more recently my passion includes grilling. I’ve been shopping non-stop at CHEFS, which is an amazing site for all things kitchen and cooking. They have things that are very common and practical and also carry a line of super cool, unique items that I’ve never seen before! I have to admit that I’ve ordered some of both, sometimes out of pure curiosity.
What are some of the things they carry? Just to name a FEW, I’ve seen an herb keeper, kitchen squeeze bottles, a potato ricer, garlic press, a strainer, pancake batter dispenser, chicken roaster, egg holder, Ove Glove, jar opener, citrus juicer, and SO much more.
I honestly wish I could register on here for my wedding. There are SO many more things that I would love to buy!
Your wedding is possibly the most special day that you will ever have. Unfortunately, it can come and go quickly and the planning up to the big day seems to take forever! Since this is such a special day, you want it to stand out and be unique. After all, as a couple, you aren’t like everybody else and therefore your wedding shouldn’t be like any other.
Here are just a couple of the MANY ways you can customize your wedding.
My personal favorite is custom engagement rings. This is the perfect way to start out your unique and special wedding.
With custom wedding decor, you can make your wedding unique by adding smaller touches such as this table runner, a cake topper, and centerpieces that involve the couple’s initials, hobbies, favorite colors, and more.
With your wedding vows, opt to write your own instead of finding ones that everybody else uses. After all, these are the words that you speak to each other at the beginning of your journey together as husband as wife.
What are ways that you would make your big day custom and unique?

The dress. Possibly one of the biggest decisions EVER. This dress is classic and unique and I love it!
I want my bridesmaids to have a dress that they can wear again. This blue is perfect for the Spring wedding that I want to have.
I love this light bouquet and it will be perfect for my future dream Spring wedding.
