• Update WordPress (is it just me, or do updates roll out more frequently than ever these days?)
• Go through my blogroll and remove broken links
• Write up an article on the care of a bridesmaid dress
• Catch up on link exchanges
• Put together a new layout for Jenn.nu

With any luck, I should be able to accomplish all but the last!

Is that strange? I have never been a girly girl. Oh, I like perfume, makeup, jewelry and being feminine, but I am not interested in pastels, lace, pearls, dresses or high heels. You’ll never find me in a dress unless it’s for a necessary occasion, and even then I’ll do my best to wear a sassy, “stylish” dress; or better yet, a top and skirt. I wouldn’t balk at something special like bridal party dresses, but I won’t lie — I’d be more than happy to change out of them as soon as the opportunity arose!

For the sake of convenience I usually go for ready-to-buy products, but on occasion I will sacrifice convenience in order to enjoy something custom. Take custom engagement rings, for example. An engagement ring is definitely something worth having customized. On that note, tote bags, messenger bags and even covers for laptops are also often worth being customized!

What do you think is better – ready-to-go or custom?

I suddenly realized that it’s a little past ten o’clock, and despite me taking a two hour nap earlier this afternoon, I am suddenly tired. Pssh. I’m going to have to wrap up what I’m doing and then get in bed. But first I have some blogging to do, and some downloaded music to process in iTunes. Though since I’ll be using iTunes tomorrow, I may just wait until tomorrow to take care of it all. One thing I do need to do tonight is finish up a short article on multiple uses for a lab coat. Believe it or not, there’s a lot you can do with a lab coat!
